Have you checked the settings for KDE Wallet and auto-unlock feature. In case that doesn't work, then you might have a permissions issue but it is hard to tell without actual message from either error output or logs. If the problem is not gone why not go to the logs to check what is happening?
Most likely going to be some file like /var/log/sddm, if it exists and if not try again after switching on logging for sddm from within KDE |

Were you ever able to check auto-unlock (KDE) or get logs for the sddm login is there some update? |

That is not kwallet here, but a session issue. Likely it is misconfigured or Plasma started manually with an insufficient command.
The lack of response by OP though makes me think it is solved.
PS: don't even think about starting an X session as root. _________________ backend.cpp:92:2: warning: #warning TODO - this error message is about as useful as a cooling unit in the arctic |
