For going simple way, try https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Dhcpcd-ui.

Edit:
But be aware it needs dhcpcd run as a service.

Here I have settings like:
$ grep dhcpcd /etc/portage/package.use:
net-misc/dhcpcd-ui -gtk
leading to
$ emerge -pvq dhcpcd-ui:
[ebuild   R   ] net-misc/dhcpcd-ui-0.7.5-r1  USE="qt4 -debug -gtk -gtk3 -libnotify"

Portage tell you exactly what you shold do
Code:
The following REQUIRED_USE flag constraints are unsatisfied:
at-most-one-of ( gtk gtk3 qt4 )

If you have a gtk based system enable this and disable qt4, if your system is a qt based enable qt4 and disable gtk.
MYou can also disable all UI support disabling all three flags.

Makes no sense in this case

Yes, but i dont know whats correct. I use Fluxbox without flags. What should i activate? My make.conf
Code:

# These settings were set by the catalyst build script that automatically
# built this stage.
# Please consult /usr/share/portage/config/make.conf.example for a more
# detailed example.
CFLAGS="-O2 -pipe"
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"

CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu"

# buidling in addition to what is provided by the profile.

Code:

First select a reasonable profile. For fluxbox, the default/linux/amd64/13.0/desktop should be ok. Then create a file like
/etc/portage/package.use:
*/* -kde -games
net-misc/dhcpcd-ui qt4 -debug -gtk -gtk3 -libnotify
and remove the USE= line from make.conf

Edit:
Wait! Are you using systemd? Then things might be different.

Although not definitive, a search of recent posts from michi-monster does show (untitled post from Jun 2017) with emerge --info showing a systemd profile.

As you already have NetworkManager installed, why not just run nmtui in a terminal window when using Fluxbox? You can view, edit, add, delete, open and close network connections using that. It may not be beautiful, but it's easy enough to use.

Code:
$ nmtui

You can see what the nmtui user interface looks like and how to use it at the following link: http://www.unixarena.com/2015/04/rhel-7-network-management-nmcli-or-nmtui.html

Changed the USE flag to make.conf. First there is an error of blocked packets. After changing to
Code:
 USE = systemd X
it was ok. I change the package.use. Network manager command not found is now the message t. It is installed. What's wrong ?

Code:
sonnenschein michi # sysctl start Networkmanager

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild   R    ] net-misc/networkmanager-1.4.4-r1::gentoo  USE="bluetooth consolekit dhclient introspection modemmanager ncurses nss ppp systemd wext wifi -audit -connection-sharing -gnutls -json -ofono -resolvconf (-selinux) -teamd {-test} -vala" ABI_X86="(64) -32 (-x32)" 0 KiB

Total: 1 package (1 reinstall), Size of downloads: 0 KiB

Would you like to merge these packages? [Yes/No] no

Quitting.

NetworkManager not Networkmanager, is case sensitive (I think).

Itś only Networkmanager
Code:
michi@sonnenschein ~ $ su
Passwort:
sonnenschein michi # emerge -av NetworkManager

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "NetworkManager".

emerge: searching for similar names...
emerge: Maybe you meant any of these: net-misc/networkmanager, kde-frameworks/networkmanager-qt, net-misc/networkmanager-vpnc?
sonnenschein michi # emerge -av net-misc/networkmanager

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

The package is named 'net-misc/networkmanager' (lower case) but the service is named NetworkManager (upper case 'N', upper case 'M'):

Code:
# locate NetworkManager | grep bin
/usr/sbin/NetworkManager

OpenRC installation:
Code:
# ls /etc/init.d/NetworkManager
/etc/init.d/NetworkManager

systemd installation:
Code:
# locate NetworkManager.service
/etc/systemd/system/dbus-org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.service
/etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/NetworkManager.service
/usr/lib64/systemd/system/NetworkManager.service
