(This topic might belong to "Unsupported Software"...)

So I was trying to build Oolite just to test it out. It seems like an interesting game.
After reading older topics I concluded that Oolite was on offical gentoo (portage) overlay.

I tried to emerge games-action/oolite::calculate, but fails with
error message:
In file included from ../jscompartment.cpp:48:
../jswrapper.h:120:7: error: visibility does not match previous declaration
- kind of errors with lots of
warning message:
./dist/include/jsstr.h:525:14: warning: private field 'mDummy' is not used [-Wunused-private-field]
JSString mDummy;
-types of warnings.
If anyone knows how to solve this..?

It seems to use javascript in some places as it needs nspr and it has lot's of js* files. Other strange thing is that it needs GNUstep. It might be because it's easier then to get it working on macOS...

Anyway. Anyone playing Oolite? How it fares as a space sim?

Think I've seen something similar while perusing the gcc-6* bugs. Try compiling with gcc-5*.

Thanks that did it. :) I previously had tried gcc and clang, but those failed back then when I hadn't objc and related USE -flags set.

Now to test out the compiled "product".
