Hallo zusammen,

ich habe den Profilwechsel von 17.0 auf 17.1 gewagt und eigentlich lief es reibungslos. Allerdings habe ich beim ersten emerge -auDNtv world jetzt einen Block, den ich nicht verstehe:

guckst du dir das virtual/udev ebuild an:

systemd fehlt bei dir in den Useflags – oder besser: die korrekte Wahl eines 17.1er systemd-Profils ;)

Wie hast Du den Profilwechsel gemacht? Einfach nur mit 'eselect profile' oder bist Du die einzelnen Schritte des News Items durchgegangen?

Streng nach Anleitung aus der news. Dabei gab es keine Probleme, alles lief sauber durch. Vorher war das system clean....

Deshalb verstehe ich nicht wirklich wie es zu diesem Block kommt. Vermutlich die geänderten USE-Flags aus dem Profil...

Die Escape-Codes schleppe ich schon eine Weile mit, die sind nicht auf die Profile zurückzusetzen....

systemd und eudev können nicht gleichzeitig installiert sein. eudev ist bisher nicht installiert (Du verwendest und möchtest Systemd, richtig?). Aber jetzt will virtual/libudev eudev reinziehen. Wie misterjack schon schrieb, passiert das genau dann, wenn virtual/libudev OHNE USE Flag "system" installiert werden soll…

Die Frage ist nun, warum virtual/libudev ohne USE Flag "systemd" installiert werden soll.

Es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten:
  1. Du hast aus Versehen das falsche Profil gewählt. Bitte schaue Dir die Ausgabe von 'eselect profile list' an und schaue, ob Du ein 17.1 Profil MIT Systemd gewählt hast. Wenn nicht, wechsle auf ein 17.1/Systemd Profil.

  2. Du hast ein 17.1 Profil, aber ohne Systemd, weil Du kein Systemd Profil willst? Auch möglich, aber in diesem Fall solltest Du das USE Flag "systemd" in make.conf definieren.

  3. Du hast ein 17.1/Systemd Profil und Du bekommst trotzdem den Fehler? Jetzt wird es spannend! In diesem Fall poste bitte die Ausgabe von 'eselect profile list' und von 'emerge --info'.

ok, das ist es gewesen: das neue Profil ist 17.1/desktop also nicht explizit systemd. Daher kam udev... das USE=systemd in die make.conf und ein paar andere Anpassungen -> jetzt läuft es wieder...
