hi, :D

i ran into an issue during an install. was getting a little too antsy with some packages, and wanted to remove some of them from my resume list. there was no tool to do this quickly and easily so i made one!

eprl has the capability to allow the user to resolve ambiguous package discrepancies, as well as allowing the user to resolve multiple version matches.

any feedback is welcomed

You shouldn't run pip as root. BTW, --exclude option lets to exclude packages.

Portage command emerge has an option --exclude.

I believe the proper spelling of the install command would be emerge app-portage/eprl, after writing an appropriate ebuild for it.
