I have a system with an older GPU. It runs my desktop and GPU accel just fine.
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation G92GLM [Quadro FX 3600M] (rev a2)

I was cleaning up my user flags and now I'm noticing a few things are mad about egl and gallium while I think I should be trying to build with opengl and gles<something>.
X/DE gurus of this subforum, what should I be targeting system wide? The card is dx10, opengl 3.3, cuda/opencl 1.1

Bonus, will this ever run wayland? Or is that newer drivers only?

Forget Wayland with Nvidia proprietary drivers. Also, what makes you think you need gles?
