New laptop, booted from USB, partitioned disks, emerge --sync. ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~amd64" and went to run emerge -vuND --backtrack=30 @world on a basic profile (so no desktop nor X appearing in that list). Portage updated linux headers, then glibc, and now everything else fails at the configure stage with that error. What can I do? I'm leaning towards installing stable and then try to do an update from within a working gentoo.
