Been using Gentoo for a little while on and off for about 9ish years ran into a new issue i've not really had
Installed Gentoo on my asus rog g752vt
at first couldn't get the uefi to install via grub noticed i forgot to make nvmen0p2 vfat aka fat32, so i took the files off /boot formatted the drive to allow the uefi in which allowed grub2 to install the efi...
Upon reboot grub loads in i can use keyboard perfectly fine etc.
entering system going to console login: keyboard lights have went away and doesn't work
USB keyboard - logitech g106
standard laptop asus keyboard
Both work at grub then go away at login.
mouse doesnt work at all but does get power "keyboard doesnt"
Kernel:

Live cd enviroment dmesg since i cant get real one
http://pastebin.com/JaLxH31P
When installing i did this world update crap after selecting the "plasma profile"

That's what was installed not sure if that's the issue or not |

Look at your kernel configuration:
Code: | # CONFIG_USB_XHCI_HCD is not set |
livecd dmesg output shows that:
Code: | [ 1.134333] xhci_hcd 0000:00:14.0: xHCI Host Controller
[ 1.135050] xhci_hcd 0000:00:14.0: new USB bus registered, assigned bus number 1
[ 1.136850] xhci_hcd 0000:00:14.0: hcc params 0x200077c1 hci version 0x100 quirks 0x00109810
[ 1.137592] xhci_hcd 0000:00:14.0: cache line size of 64 is not supported |

Wow, this is weird.
I have the same laptop and it seems like the same problem.
After installing Plasma/systemd the keyboard and touch pad didn't work after the system was booted. |
