Yes i done it, only took 4-5 hours to figure it out.

Just to point out, "emerge rsync" will update the .ebuilds, not "emerge -u portage". Portage is only the scripts that run the program, not the ebuild scripts.

seems like a lot of work to just get winamp skins to work, when xmms has pretty good ones :\ imo

Thanks BradN for pointing that out, i was awake for a good 30 hours when i made that, upon fixing that i noticed i said you need to edit config.mak, well after editing configure you need to run configure before you can get edit config.mak. HowTo has been updated.

2.24 ran fine that i noticed, didn't really test it completly since i use xmms.

If your into winamp and don't want to use xmms they have a alpha version out and a useable beta version will be out soon.

cool , I might have a look at the alpha, but like you I quite like xmms , it does seem a bit lame running "WIN"amp under linux lol :D

These nice gimp icons are part of gnome2 or u installed them yourself ? I really like them :)

it's gimp 1.3.7, the beta version, thats the way it looks and uses gtk2.0
