i have this problem in Playonlinux after updating:

Wine cannot find the FreeType font library. To enable Wine to use TrueType fonts please install a version of FreeType greater than or equal to 2.0.5. http://www.freetype.org

its a Playonlinux problem and not wine since im able to lauch some games that were working on wine if i use system wine, is not a problem of not having the freetype libraries since im able to play the game with system wine, i need Playonlinux to use other versions of wine.

i dont know if there is a patch a symlink or if it is a python problem.
Does anyone know how to solve this?

is there a Playonlinux 5 package for gentoo? i know it use java instead of python

does anyone use q4wine?
how can you use different versions of wine?
