Hi there! I had an error while downgrading my plasma packages (with kwin).
So I decide to remove all plasma packages and then restore it to stable version. And occasionally deleted package and then emerge @preserved-rebuild it.
But after all I can't boot in my plasma environment, even in sddm login screen. What I need to do solve this?

You're not really describing the problem. Please tell us exactly where it goes wrong, and provide error messages if possible. |

It's my journal -b exhaust.

I had unstable version of plasma. I just want to install stable one. I deleted all info about plasma 5 in package.accepted_keyworld and type to update world. Update broke on kwin installation. So I had half packages from stable version and another half from unstable. I reboot to tty2 and completely remove all plasma packages: kde-plasma/* kde-frameworks/* and even kde-apps/*. I deleted polkit too, it was my fault. Then I emerged plasma-meta again and restore polkit. Reboot. And can't boot in sddm (you can see it in journalctl log) |

paste link updated
And another one with
journalctl -b | grep sddm

[SOLVED] solution was simplest as ever. All I did just re-emerged sddm because it still depends on qtcore-5.7, when I already used stable 5.6. Thanks anyway! |
