I am a heavy user of KDE activies, however Konqueror is a mess...
I was wondering which other browser (if any) support KDE activities (e.g. restore browser sessions when starting an activity).

I put everything I know of here:
http://linux.overshoot.tv/wiki/kde_activities

What browser do you use with Activities?

Of course, this question wouldn't be necessary if konqueror were not so broken. It really is a shame. So many web sites crash or do not render properly in konqueror. I think the real solution would be to revive konqueror. I could contribute a little, although I do not have the technical knowledge nor the time resources to do much, if anything, on my own.

Another problem I have with activities, is that I use konsole *a lot*, and whenever konsole crashes or is killed for any reason, all the saved konsole sessions in closed activities are lost. Yakuake is not aware of activities at all.

Moved from Gentoo Chat to Desktop Environments as it fits better there.

I am still looking for a viable alternative to konqueror, integrated within KDE.

Various konqueror fails after upgrade

Other things that I use extensively in konqueror and for which I have not found an equivalent in other browsers:

- web shortcuts: e.g. I can type "wp Charity" in my desktop (krunner) and automatically open wikipedia on the "Charity" page within konqueror.

- "Open with..." dialogs.
