Since it's release I've been playing nothing but Monster Hunter World. I can't recommend it enough.

I am trying to be into this game God of War. It's very, very well done game. It is, but I cannot for the life of me get that urge to play this more than pyopyo/tetris or NHL.
Something is just bat crazy wrong with me. To begin with, I feel threatened by trying God of War or such, as if it could physically hurt me if I fail. So stupid. It's an excellent game, so buy it and then do not play it if you are above or close to the fifties, then let the young ones play it for you, explaining why this does that and how on earth this thing made sense. While the fackk still playing and making stellar moves to combat foes. Smarta** bastards.

Witcher 3 is honestly as close to a perfect game as I've experienced to far.

I recently bought Baldurs Gate 1, 2, all expansions, Ice Wind Dale enhanced editions for $26NZD. Quality purchase IMO.

Getting back into some Rocket League, not very good at it though.

No Extreme Tux Racer? I'm disappointed. It's just a bit of simple entertainment but it does the job. It even runs well on the RPi3 (Granted, you have to have the experimental OpenGL driver enabled, which makes the game playable but the rest of the system takes a significant performance hit... Somehow...). Also, Quake 3 Arena. Again Pi3, quick fun to do a couple of matches against bots.
Otherwise, I've kind of lost interest in video games. Loved the Witcher 1, even made the effort to get it running under Wine when I switched to Gentoo because I wanted to finish it. I started playing Wicther 2, the native Linux port, about half a year ago and to say I'm unimpressed would be an understatement. The only reason I fire it up once in a blue moon is because I love the world Sapkowski has painted in his book (which I have, might I add, all read) and the games are a welcome expansion of it.

Kerbal Space Program. You can thank me later. If you're looking for tutorials, look up Scott Manley on YouTube.

The earth ain't flat at all(!)
I do find it very accurate to all the motion captions I've seen stemming from hollywood.

However things may be, it requires some real skill to make that space travel work. Impressive to me and I would have to clean my closet before trying it at all.
With that said, I understand the immersion and gratification it must have accomplish a full mission to ISS or such.

My next focus on the radar is cyberpunk 2077

FPS, not so much rolling around and such this time, muso.
Please do, check it out. The makers seem to have a load of good ideas.

Getting into Fallout 4 after purchasing it a couple of years ago. Borderlands 2, The new Doom. Can't find the same fun I used to have playing TFC and Quake 3 Instagib, though. That period and those two games were the pinnacle of my gaming life.

Skeptically hoping for Cyberpunk 2077 to be good.

Oh and Half Life 3 any day now.

For a few years now I am only playing the Mass Effect Trilogy.
I don't have much time, only a few hours per month, for gaming, so I keep to what I enjoy most. Bad experiments are too costly...

How are you liking it? I tried a single match earlier in the week, but haven't had time to go back yet. The movement felt really weird to me, but I assume it is just really different from other games I played right before.

I quite like it, a few of us over in GoL setup mini sessions. I suck atm :( I die in 1v1 face on... onless I can get a decent jump on someone and really cripple them

there are some annoying bugs still - the keybind one for instance, but they are getting better

The keybind thing is most frustrating to me, as I don't know how to do anything :D
Tried a few more matches since the last time, still not sure what I think of it, still have it installed. It's a huge plus that I don't have to reboot into Windows to play it.

Dark Souls III now plays in Proton.

Current games = Doom (2016), Dark Souls III, Borderlands 2, and South Park's Stick of Truth.

Looking at picking up Tyranny, it seems pretty sweet.

I own both CS:S and CS:GO. About a year ago Valve started pushing CS:GO Prime for those that enabled it, it was a way of linking your account so non-hackers could play with non-hackers. If Valve have made CS:GO free and enabled Prime for all those who bought CS:GO then this is good.

CS:GO did improve some things over CS:S. I was in two minds years ago whether to fork out again but when my old clan went that way I waited for a decent sale. Since CS:GO is free now, go download it. Try the BR gamemode, its quite fun and quite fast rounds. its only 18player BUT it does mean the games are fast

I have a question. Hopefully comprehend able to all of us. Can someone tell me the difference to why CS-anything is so much better than most out there?
It just feels it survives and is like nothing else out there - ever. And it's a lot out there. I cannot honestly see the diff of fakk

Counter Strike is easy to pick up and hard to master, simple as that.
You got guns, the guns shoot better when you're standing, headshots do more damage. You go and try it and learn the rest from imitating better people until you have the mapsense and metagaming down.
Other games that probably deserve praise that don't get it I've found are difficult to pick up, resulting in people not wanting to learn it and quitting immediately.
After the Battle Royale mode, though, I think I'm quitting CSGO for good.
