When I installed OpenTTD from the repo's with OpenSFX, OpenMSX and OpenGFX, everything worked fine.
However I wanted to play multiplayer with some friends using Windows, and of course they ran a version newer than I did (1.6.1 over 1.6.0).
So, I added the ~amd64 keyword, updated OpenTTD and assumed everything would be fine. However, suddenly it couldn't find any of the assets anymore.
Because of this I also added the ~amd64 keyword to OpenSFX, OpenMSX and OpenGFX, but it didn't help. I ended up downloading the assets from the game itself, but now the system ones aren't used.
How can I get OpenTTD to work with the system provided assets again? |

See https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=600272. Reinstalling OpenTTD should fix the problem. If you want to delete the assets you downloaded from the game's content downloader, you can find them in ~/.openttd/content_download/baseset. |
