I'm trying to update the texlive package, and one of it's dependencies is app-text/xdvik. Here you can see build logs:

What helped to pass the configure, is INSTALL file at /var/tmp/portage/app-text/xdvik-22.85-r1/work/xdvik-22.85. After calling configure in the following way, it passed the process:

This append, probably, because kpathsea-6.2.0_p20140525 is not compatible wirh xdvik-22.85.
If you see in source code of xdvik you can see that version of kpathsea is 6.0.1.
Try to unmask newer version of xdvik

| The ebuild dependency data should have handled this for you. Please file a bug to have the dependency on app-text/xdvik modified to disallow dev-libs/kpathsea-6.2.0_p20140525 so that the next person to try this gets a clean error from Portage. |
