It should work if you run x11vnc on the X servers, then connect to those and make a screenshot of the VNC client. |

It's the problem of the X server/graphics card combo software. Not all graphics card can support multiple contexts, and in fact, probably most only support one context because it's unusual to run more than one screen and that it matches the cards that can't support more than one context.
I think this is a problem just because this is the way that multiple sessions ("switch user") on Linux. Not sure how Windows deals with multiple sessions, but its remote desktop means that it stores the frame buffer in main memory at times (and the console can still show a login screen).
In any case I tried running x11vnc on a second X server session on the same graphics card, and tried using it while in the background. Unfortunately it also gives a black screen which matches the screen grabs. However it knows that the clients are there because as I mouse over where I expect windows to be, the mouse cursor changes. _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K@ 4.1GHz/HD3000 graphics/8GB DDR3/180GB SSD
