I am (still) using kmail1 with both kde4 and kde5/plasma.
Update world now has some blocks:
Code:

[ebuild     U  ] kde-apps/kdepimlibs-4.14.11_pre20160211-r2:4/4.14::gentoo [4.14.11_pre20160211:4/4.14::gentoo] USE="handbook ldap (-aqua) -debug -prison {-test}" 0 KiB
[blocks B      ] >=kde-apps/kdepimlibs-4.14.11_pre20160211 (">=kde-apps/kdepimlibs-4.14.11_pre20160211" is blocking kde-apps/kmail-4.4.2016.01)

When I mask kde-apps/kdepimlibs-4.14.11_pre20160211-r2 to resolve this block, kde-apps/kdepimlibs-4.14.10-r2 is emerged.
However it does not compile. It aborts on configure stage with this:
Code:

* ERROR: kde-apps/kdepimlibs-4.14.10-r2::gentoo failed (configure phase):
 *   Usage: cmake-utils_use_find_package <USE flag> <package name>
 *
 * Call stack:
 *     ebuild.sh, line  115:  Called src_configure
 *   environment, line 3985:  Called cmake-utils_use_find_package 'ldap'
 *   environment, line 1201:  Called die
 * The specific snippet of code:
 *           die "Usage: cmake-utils_use_find_package <USE flag> <package name>";
 *

Occurs with both kde4 and kde5/plasma systems.
It looks to me like the call of "cmake-utils_use_find_package" fails because of wrong parameters, but I cannot imagine why.
Any hint on what is the reason for this ans how I can resolve it?

Thanks for the report, that's a bug in the ebuild. EDIT: Fixed in git by kensington, sync in a few hours!

Works on both systems now.
Thank you for the fix. :-)
