Hi, I got that Logitech MX Revolution mouse and like to configure it like that:
https://blogs.gentoo.org/betelgeuse/2006/11/26/getting_mx_revolution_setup_in_gentoo/

First I like to know if imwheel is still the best way as it is no maintained anymore.
I can't get that configuration helper starting like man imwheel says:
Code:
CONFIGURATION HELPER:" semi-hidden helper by rolling/sticking up and down a few times in the root window of X.."

Calling imwheel -k --config directly is segfaulting with a fresh build of imwheel.

I looked for alternatives and found xbindkeys: https://askubuntu.com/questions/152297/how-to-configure-extra-buttons-in-logitech-mouse/246849#246849
which could also map every mouse button to any key stroke.
With xev I got to know the numbers of all those mouse buttons I have. But the xte command is not available, which ebuild to emerge?
