Not sure which upgrade broke it (likely Plasma 5.7.5?). But I don't get the bottom panel in plasma after login. The following shows up in the logs:

I haven't tested that. But it's a good point.
I would rather like to keep my stuff. There is too much to manually configure. |

| Just check with a testuser account, you don't have to remove your profile data. And should it be confirmed that it is some config mishap, mostly resetting plasma config should be fine. |

| Looks like new user is clean. Now, how do I go about cleaning plasma config? Start editing files manually, removing applets one by one from there? |
