Not sure which upgrade broke it (likely Plasma 5.7.5?). But I don't get the bottom panel in plasma after login. The following shows up in the logs:

Does anybody else get this as well?

I am running ~amd64 system with everything pretty much updated.

I haven't tested that. But it's a good point.

I would rather like to keep my stuff. There is too much to manually configure.

Just check with a testuser account, you don't have to remove your profile data. And should it be confirmed that it is some config mishap, mostly resetting plasma config should be fine.

Looks like new user is clean. Now, how do I go about cleaning plasma config? Start editing files manually, removing applets one by one from there?
