Hello,

I could not re-emerge kdeplasma-addons after an upgrade of world (I was supposed to do so by emerge @preserved-rebuild), so I tried to first unmerge it, and retried. Still the same: Error message indicates: /var/tmp/portage/kde-plasma/kdeplasma-addons-5.6.5/work/kdeplasma-addons-5.6.5/applets/activitypager/plugin/activitypager.cpp:53:30 not found.

Also plasma-desktop failed to emerge, and I tried the same thing, emerge -C plasma-desktop and emerge -1. Error: /var/tmp/portage/kde-plasma/plasma-desktop-5.6.5/work/plasma-desktop-5.6.5/applets/pager/plugin/pager.cpp:52:18: not found

Now to get my plasma desktop back, I changed plasma-desktop and kde-addons to ~amd64 version (5.7.5) in package.keywords and those emerged successfully.
How can I emerge stable versions?

You should post the last part of the emerge log (on a pastebin service, if it's very long). And emerge --info, too.

Can these probs have to do with obsolete entries in package.keywords?
https://paste.pound-python.org/show/7j3KRYlQBf9nMtNHgBnX/

Maybe I should try to delete them all and try to completely re-emerge kde5?

But you want plasma 5.6.5 or 5.7.5? The error probably is because you try to mix the two version of plasma.

It is not, that I try to mix anything. I want to run as stable as possible, but most of the entries in package.keywords are set by autounmask-write when updating. I will try cleanup keywords file, and see where it gets.

I think that this resolve the problem.
At this moment in your system try to build stable packages with unstable packages (e.g. plasma-workspace-5.7.5 and kdeplasma-addons-5.6.5).

You are right. Deleted package.keywords completely downgraded a dozen of packages and everything emerged fine.

Thank you :)
