I can imagine I can do something line chmod 777 /dev/tty*
But a) it's not secure, b) i have to do it at every start

Probably because of same issues my Kde Plasma wont start. but i can live with that. what wont - custom made scripts that did depend on startx before.(god damn it, i want proper nice values for my steam when I am compiling my stuff)

Why are you loading every implementation of possbile gpu drivers?

[ 14425.991] (II) UnloadModule: "vesa"
[ 14425.990] (II) Unloading fbdev
[ 14425.989] (II) UnloadModule: "nv"
[ 14425.989] (II) Unloading nouveau

Please check gentoo wiki and remove those unneeded crap: live vesa, fbdev, nouveau (open source nvidia gpu drivers) and such

--

I assume you are using the binary drivers, called nvidia-drivers and therefore you will need nvidia:

thats correct:

[ 14425.987] (II) LoadModule: "nvidia"

--

Jost for your information

The 7xx nvida cards have issues recently on any operating system. you may try an older nvidia-driver and check the web. some cards are legacy or deprecated. Please check google for details ... What i remember not every windows driver work for those 700 cards and also not every linux driver

--

Please share your make.conf

You should have only set there. I assume its a desctop box, because of the gpu in question

Code:
VIDEO_CARDS="nvidia"

When it uses the integrated intel gpu also than its a bit different ...

--

Please share your output of this:

Code:
emerge -pv xorg-drivers mesa nvidia-drivers gentoo-sources

Please pay attentin to this:

You can't use VT5 if some other process is using it (agetty runs on VT1-6 by default). Try a number above 7.

It's same, no matter which VT number I try.
Also, it works if I run X originally as root, but not as under my user.

None of non nvidia binary drivers are installed or used.

Code:
localhost linux # grep -i vesa .config
# CONFIG_FB_BOOT_VESA_SUPPORT is not set
# CONFIG_FB_UVESA is not set
# CONFIG_FB_VESA is not set
localhost linux # grep -i fbdev  .config
CONFIG_DRM_FBDEV_EMULATION=y
localhost linux # grep -i nv  .config
CONFIG_INIT_ENV_ARG_LIMIT=32
# CONFIG_OPENVSWITCH is not set
# CONFIG_BLK_DEV_NVME is not set
# CONFIG_SATA_NV is not set
# CONFIG_NET_VENDOR_NVIDIA is not set
# CONFIG_NVM is not set
CONFIG_NVRAM=y
# CONFIG_NV_TCO is not set
# CONFIG_FB_NVIDIA is not set
# CONFIG_LIBNVDIMM is not set
# CONFIG_NVMEM is not set
localhost linux # grep -i nouveau   .config
# CONFIG_DRM_NOUVEAU is not set
localhost linux #

from make.conf file.
Code:

VIDEO_CARDS="nvidia"
INPUT_DEVICES="evdev roccat_koneplus"

I don't think problem is with Nvidia driver.
I suspect it's something with input devices.
it's funny that I start X using my own user, but I can't run new X session from it.

Why are you not using lxdm for example? A graphical login manager?

e.g. lxdm, xlim, gdm, kdm ...

Because I don't like to put into start up script things that dont work

sddm fails to start up my brand new install of KDE-Plasma

Also, those managers start my X as Root user, which kils whole idea of running non SUID X, for security reasons.

X uses root to access device files in /dev/ - which includes /dev/tty* for controlling virtual terminals, as you've discovered here. If you change perms on those to give your user/group read-write access, maybe it'll work.

It's up to you to decide whether opening this security hole is an acceptable tradeoff. Running X unprivileged won't make your nvidia kernel-mode blob any more secure, after all.

If the complain is about permissions, then you should check permissions of your /dev/tty5 and check the groups to which your user belongs.

So you gave your user permanent root permissions?

No, my user is in TTY group.
TTY group was getting 620 permissions.
I modified UDEV rule to give /dev/tty* devices 660 instead of 620.

I cannot see an immediate way to exploit that, but I am fairly confident in saying that relaxing permissions on tty devices is the wrong solution from a security perspective. Your user should not be in the tty group, nor should the tty group have read access to other users' terminals.
