Hi

I am trying to get chromium to build with the gtk3 library instead of the gtk2. The only difference is that I get a nice dark frame around the window, which is the same as the one that the theme uses.
I tried adding gtk3 to the the flags but it still comes up as disabled.

I got fed up and wanted to be sure that it would build anyways, after a build failure, and I added changed the
myconf_gn+=" use_gtk3=$(usex gtk3 true false)"
to
myconf_gn+=" use_gtk3=true"
and it worked.

But how do I find out what is disabling this flag?

gtk3 on chromium is masked use flag, for unmask
Code:
# echo "www-client/chromium -gtk3" >> /etc/portage/profile/package.use.mask

but is masked for a reason
/usr/portage/profiles/base/package.use.mask wrote:

Thanks. Didn't realize you could mask flags.

Anyway, I won't bother, as gcc 6.2 causes lots of errors, and the browswer wont start with any of the adblockers installed.

You still trolling? Still don't have a life? Why not put the brown shirt on, and drive up the autobahn and have a chat with lenhart in berlin?
