I would have had this out last night, but I thought there was a bug in the setup. Yahoo was having security issues with https. I just checked, and it appears the issue was with Yahoo, not the configuration. I rwasn't looking dorward to making a bug report. Now, apparently I don't have to.

:wiping forehead:

Anyway, I have 4.18 seeds all done and tested:

Due to my standard slow internet, I only get about a week of time where I have full speed, which gets files to me much faster. As a result, this machine has become a little outdated as far as the software is concerned. Sadly, this month's new kernel source came during the slow time. It took me two days before I got a archive of the latest kernel source that wasn't damaged in shipping, so to speak I still don't have the latest version installed on this machine.

On the good side of things, the archive I had seemed to work just fine if I didn't try to install it via portage. Here are the latest seeds"

I am currently in the midst of recompiling everything with a new (to me) version of gcc. It has been interesting so far.

As always, enjoy!

:puff Puff PUFF:

:Cough Cough COUGH:

Wow, man! That's some awesome source. Here! Give it a try!

:COUGH Cough cough:

Yeah, man. :cough: :hack: That's some awesome source! :wheeze:

Okay, so it's probably good, but I haven't set it up on my machine yet.

Considering the new kernel version, the jokes most certainly write themselves. How could I release the 4.20.0 seeds without making a weed reference? I am only human.

My apologies for being late, but I have been dealing with the laptop from Hell. Until a few days ago, I had never run into a machine so resistant to booting. I spent far too much time knocking myself out trying to get an install of Linux to work, just bloody work. I don't consider myself beat at this point, but I thought it wise to set said machine aside since its old hard drive still boots, albeit not without having to let the machine cool for a few hours first.

Anyway, no more kernels in the 4.x family. Time to move on. Odd how that happened after the kernel hit 4.20.

But no matter. Here are the new seeds from kernel version 5.0.0. Note, I have set the namespace settings so portage won't complain about incorrect settings where the namespace is concerned.

No excuses today! My high-speed Internet kicked in earlier this evening. I was blissfully unaware until the new kernel source made it in two minutes instead of nearly two hours. I decided to pass the timeliness on to everyone here.

I would have had this up yesterday, but I was in bed with a chest cold of monumental proportions. I feel much better today, albeit just a touch on the congested side. Thank goodness it didn't last.

I'm not too late getting this out. I took just enough time to run it and be sure it will run. All appears normal.

RIP, buddy. I miss your humor and your righteous rants against a bogus system. You were pretty nifty as a musician as well. Wherever you landed, if you don't like it, configure a seed and reboot.
