Hi,
I noticed my KDE shortcut editor has 24 controls to increase volume, 24 to decrease it and 23 to mute/unmute. But the controls are all named identically for each category.
The installation is a rather new one so a problem originating from some migration is rather unlikely.
Do you have a clue where these controls are coming from? Has anyone a similar problem?
I'd like to have a look at this before filing a bug report at KDE.

I am running plasma 5 and assume you mean the SystemSettings->Shortcuts->Global Keyboard shortcuts, then KMix under "KDE component". I see the same thing here - about 30 "Decrease Volume", "Increase Volume", and "Toggle Mute" entries, all with no key set. I have no idea where these came from, but the default keys for these functions on my keyboard work fine, so it appears to be benign. |

Hey,
yes, that's exactly what I mean.
I figured out most of them are controlling different channels although for some controls I couldn't find a matching channel.
I discovered that when trying to fix my other issue with pulseaudio and a mute/unmute issue.
