Gentlemen
It would be great if someone could have a hard drive mounting option in System Rescue disk since its a bit a chord to mount a EXT4 drive.

Welcome to Gentoo.
We don't have an official system rescue disk (last time I saw, at least). SystemRescueCD seems to support EXT4 all right. Do you have a specific issue with your system that you would like to discuss? Maybe elaborate a bit about your mount problem. _________________ "I'm just very selective about the reality I choose to accept." -- Calvin |

richprim,
Welcome to Gentoo.
You mount your root by hand, then have a script in your root than does all the fiddly bits.
If you need no assemble raid sets and start logical volumes before you can even see root, you have a script on a USB drive _________________ Regards,
