|
|
My monitor is 30 inch with 2560x1600 resolution, it a big screen for eyes.
Gnome like to open app window at upper left corner, I have to drag window back to center area of the screen for easy use.
Is there anyway I could customize default position for new app window?
Say, limit to 60% of the screen width, and 60% of of the screen height.
I looked into gnome shell sources, but not sure where to start.
Thanks for any help.

I don't know if you can customise the position but you can center them
In dconf editor go to org/gnome/mutter and check center-new-windows |

Thanks, I'll try that.
Edit: I tried and this setting just worked. |
