A few weeks back I updated Firefox and since then it won't paint any controls on the screen. This is basically what it looks like:

https://postimg.org/image/8i397r5fj/

You can see that it's just a grey background. If I right click on it anywhere it'll force it to re-paint, and it will show the screen but won't repaint. I can use it and interact with it and even go to webpages. But the webpages don't show up! I can tell that it's going to the webpages because I can right click and get it to paint. It's not very usable this way!

I've tried to delete my profile completely, but that hasn't done anything. I've updated it again today, but that didn't do anything either. Here is my emerge line:

Try USE="-hwaccel". It's a common problem.

Oh good catch! It doesn't work with the fglrx drivers! I switched to radeon and firefox works again! I think I deleted all my bookmarks, though :(.
