Hi,
i know there is another forum for other architectures.. but i need to get orange pi lite just to test some things then i will move to something more powerfull... i dont see minimal installation image on gentoo download section and there is no tutorial for arm.. the question is, how can i install gentoo on arm based computer? is there any good guide? how can i boot gentoo in order to install it on orange pi lite? thanks in advance |

Generally, Gentoo works on ARM. For specific ARM computers you will find guides in the wiki: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Category:Embedded_systems
If there is no guide for your system, you will have to look at a similar guide like for the Orange Pi PC and use that as basis for your own device. |

ohh i didnt saw the article about orange pi pc, thank, when board arives i will check it out, thanks! |

and i forgot to ask, what about kernel? i dont see kernel installation instructions in that tutotial, is kernel in stage3 tarball? |
