En su lugar me aparece el simple locker con el fondo por defecto Elarun. Se que es un problema de configuración del kde porque con un usuario limpio funciona perfectamente.
¿Alguna manera de arreglarlo sin tener que borrar toda mi configuración de KDE?
PD
Obsoleto, ya que he actualizado a plasma y de momento no hay salvapantallas.

Tras mover el directorio /home/cameta/.kde4/share/config/ a /home/cameta/.kde4/share/config/ y volver a loguear el salvapantallas ha funcionado pero cuando he empezado a personalizarlo ha vuelto a fallar.

lo he vuelto a borrar y de nuevo al personalizar vuelve a fallar No entiendo en que paso ocurre.

Parece que se da al cambiar el tema de las ventanas. Y al hacer logout y volver a entrar el problema ya es permanente.

Pues esta vez lo he cambiado y no ha sucedido nada. Francamente ni idea de lo que provoca ese problema.

Al fin creo tener identificado al responsable:
System settings--->Worksapace Behaviour---->Workspace
Global options for the Plasma Workspace
Show infromational tips
al tocar esa casilla deja de funcionar el salvapantallas y de manera irreversible.

Confirmado. Aunque a veces hay que dar al logout y volver a entrar para que se de este comportamiento. A alguien mas le sucede?
