A few weeks or months ago I "upgraded" from KDE 4 to Plasma 5. (Putting upgraded in quotes, because so far, I haven't a single improvement over KDE 4 yet...) I just noticed that I can no longer browse my old saved passwords using kwalletmanager in Plasma 5. When I open the application and enter my password, the wallet shown to me is completely empty, save for a "Chrome Form Data" folder, which doesn't contain any actual paaswords.

This is a bit of a problem for me. Over the years, I had saved a lot of passwords in my kwallet, some of which are quite important to me.

The passwords seem to still be there somewhere, at least KMail can still connect to my email servers after I enter the kwallet password. I think KMail may still be using the old KDE 4 wallet system, though.

AFAIK, Plasma 5 is supposed to migrate the passwords over on first startup, but apparently that wasn't successful in my case.

Is there any way to get back access to my passwords? Any help would be appreciated.

To access the passwords of your kdelibs4-based wallet, install and run kwalletmanager:4.
