I install the gentoo linux, I follow the manual installation, I install the grub, I compile the kernel, etc... I do all
But when I reboot the system i go to directory /boot and I don't see anything, the directory is empty! Why? But if I can reboot the system, with which image kernel the system reboot? I also don't see the directory grub...
Help me please!
Thanks. |

it's empty because in your fstab file you have an option "noauto" which tells linux not to mount it on startup.
if you want to mount it, type
mount /boot [enter]
then you should be able to see everything |
