Hello all, I'm currently having trouble understanding how Dolphin uses input devices when it comes to assigning them to being controllers.
I've had my PS3 controller working on my system for quite a while, and it even comes up automatically in other emulators like PCSX2 - but for some reason it doesn't seem to come up in Dolphin.
When I try to select the device I want my virtual controller to use as input, I get the following options:
Code: | Xlib/0/Keyboard Mouse
XInput2//Virtual core pointer
|
Selecting either one and attempting to use it to assign buttons gives me nothing, leading me to believe that this may not be my controller.
There's a good chance I'm wrong here - the XInput2//Virtual core pointer could be my controller, and dolphin just doesn't seem to be recognising that I'm pressing its buttons during configuration.
Really at a loss for what I should be doing to troubleshoot this - does anyone have any ideas or similar problems with Dolphin?
Thanks in advance. |
