Hey Gentoo Users,
I am trying to add a overlay which is list on the gentoo overlay search site. The overlay is called bgo-overlay it is the only one on the list that classified as "outside". What is the best way of adding this overlay or is this first step in removing obsolete overlays ?
Cheers |

Please disregard. I managed to get it to work, though why I would need to run this same command twice to actually succeed is a bit off.
layman -a bgo-overlay -o http://gpo.zugaina.org/lst/gpo-repositories.xml |

I also am trying to add this overlay but when I run Code: | layman -a bgo-overlay -o http://gpo.zugaina.org/lst/gpo-repositories.xml | I keep getting Code: | * Overlay "bgo-overlay" does not exist | Any suggestions?
*****SOLVED***
Typo on website which says It's missing a final " -L" Code: | layman -o http://gpo.zugaina.org/lst/gpo-repositories.xml -L | works |

Or just add -f: Code: | layman -a bgo-overlay -o http://gpo.zugaina.org/lst/gpo-repositories.xml -f |

no need -f option
just replace option like this:
Code: | layman -o http://gpo.zugaina.org/lst/gpo-repositories.xml -a bgo-overlay |
