I just emerged pdf-shuffler because I have it used previously to merge scans, arrange the pages and rotate them. But right now it is impossible to save more than a single page.

If I open a single scan (in .pdf format) I can save it. If I now add a page and do "save as" is terminates with

Code:
unsupported operand type(s) for +: 'IndirectObject' and 'int'

Bit of a bother as there isn't any pdf manuputing program as easy to use as this one. From what I find doing a google on that error it pops up rather frequently as a Python issue.

Is there a (previous) version that does work?

No, didn't change it since I installed it about 2 months ago (after a new motherboard).

After some browsing I read that cups-pdf might be involved. So I emerged this again and now I can save a pdf that I made out of several separate pages. But I have no idea why.

BUT if I turn a page (when I scan I have pages upside down as this is the easiest to set up the scanner) then it doesn't want to save. I really don't get it.

Trying the same on the laptop however did not give any improvement (all saves fail).

Pdftk isn't an option, I have regulary documents that are composed of more than 100 pages where some pages have to be turned, some re-ordered etc. That's just not practical with a terminal application.
