Hello!

Somehow every new update brings some problem with it :D Now the LANG setting is overridden during XFCE session start up.

I have LightDM (version 1.16.7) with x11-misc/lightdm-gtk-greeter (version 2.0.1-r1). Until recently users could have "export LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8" in ~/.profile and this setting was respected. An update that I've made about a week ago has broken that. Now, the LANG is always set to "en_US.utf8" (this is default LANG setting in /etc/env.d/02locale). To fix the issue I've changed ~/.profile to set LC_ALL variable. This works, but it changes too many things.

Since I don't know what exactly was changed by the last update, I'm looking for a way to identify what overrides the LANG setting.

As far as I can see, neither LightDM nor XFCE were updated recently.
