I have 2 important problems after my last upgrade.
first of all everytime i boot on my kde amd 64 box (nvidia 358) the loading bar flashes and my desktop has a wrong resolution(1920x1080) .I change the resolution back to normal(1680x1050) but again when i boot or log out/log in my gentoo box i have the same problem..

2)i am taking this error with screenfetch and also i cannot execute screenfetch as a user but only as a root
the message is
Quote:
[[ ! ]] QStandardPaths: wrong ownership on runtime directory /var/run/user/1000, 1000 instead of 0

I'm also having the problem with the switching screen resolution after login with kde/plasma, but with a dual monitor setup.
Sometimes it justs sets the monitors' resolutions and position wrong.

So I came up with this workaround:
Place a shell script in ~/.config/autostart-scripts/ with a call to xrandr to fix the resolution.
This resets the monitor resolutions as they should be, but the screen will/may change it's resolution 2 times (1x kde, 1x script), if you can live with that.
