KDE5 Plasma nolonger mounts iphone

In KDE4 I could plug my iPhone into the USB port and the device manager would automatically show it and give me options how I want to use it. I always used Gwenview to import my photos without any trouble. After migrating to Plasma5 when I connect my iPhone the device manager shows nothing. If I try to import directly from the Gwenview application...there isn't any option to import from my iPhone. WTF. How can I get the same functionality I had in KDE4? Thanks
