I often use my laptop to show view graphs for an audience. I have the most annoying problem. If a slide is shown for approx. 5 minutes and there is no interaction with the PC during that time, my screen on the computer freeze completely. There is no way to interact with the PC through the GUI and I have to reboot the computer to get on track again.

First I thought that the problem depends on an energy saving feature that is activated after some time of inactivity. But the problem persist even if I disengage
System Settings -> Power Management -> Energy Saving -> Screen Energy Saving
What could be the root casue of my problem?
