Hallo zusammen,
ich habe ein Performance Problem mit Evolution. Vielleicht hatte ja mal jemand ein ähnliches Problem und kann mir ein paar Hinweise geben.
Die grafische Darstellung von Evolution ist bei mir unerträglich langsam. Wenn ich das Evolution-Fenster von der Taskleiste auf Vollbild vergrößere, dauert es ein paar Sekunden, bis der Inhalt des Fensters angezeigt wird.
Klicke ich eine eMail an, dauert es etwas, bis die eMail angezeigt wird. Wenn ich mehrere eMails markiere, wird Evolution fast unbenutzbar und reagiert so gut wie gar nicht mehr. Die CPU Auslastung dabei liegt bei 100%.
Ich habe nicht die aktuellste Hardware, aber für ein eMail-Programm sollte es schon ausreichen, zumal alles andere ja in annehmbarer Geschwindigkeit passiert.
Software-Umgebung:
Kernel 3.18.3
Mate-Desktop 1.8.1
Evolution 3.18.5.1
Nvidia-Treiber 304.131
Hardware:
Pentium 4, 3,4 GHz
NVIDIA Corporation G73 [GeForce 7600 GT]

Hast du schon versucht, die eingerichteten E-Mail-Konten lokal zu löschen, evolution neu zu starten und diese neu anzulegen?
Evtl. wartet da Evolution auf einen (langsamen?) Server.
Achtung: Evolution startet im Hintergrund automatisch ein paar Services mit, die man leicht mit
Code: | ps aux | grep evolution |
sieht.
Bzw. mit
Code: | killall -r 'evolution.*' |
auch mal beenden kann.
Bzw. hast du, bevor das aufgetreten ist, etwas installiert? Updates?
