I have gone through https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Fontconfig but I cannot seem to get Terminus font to work in anyway.
The only way I can get it to work in rxvt-unicode is by adding "-xos4-terminus-medium-r-normal--0-0-72-72-c-0-iso10646-1" but it seems that fonts is messing up everything including being able to change my bar on i3wm and change the i3 window title fonts.
How on earth do you make fonts work on Gentoo??? Nothing font related seems to work at all. |

I have this line in ~/.Xresources and it works for me: Code: |
urxvt*font: xft:Terminus:size=13 |
and for xterm: Code: |
XTerm*faceName: Terminus
XTerm*faceSize: 13 |
(edit:) I didn't notice any interference, but I use Openbox, not i3wm. _________________ Please, avoid some common spelling errors:
