Google Play Music Desktop Player

I'm pretty interested in using this guy: http://www.googleplaymusicdesktopplayer.com/. I pulled the .zip file from github (https://github.com/MarshallOfSound/Google-Play-Music-Desktop-Player-UNOFFICIAL-) but couldn't figure out how to build it. If anyone can offer some advice that would be wonderful. An .ebuild would be extra wonderful

Playing with this now myself. Is there a not stupid way to create & install an actual binary, instead of using npm start to kick it off? So far the only thing I've found is to just extract the .deb file (either direct from GitHub or make it myself) and copy the executable over to /usr/local/bin, but that's kind of hokey.
