PostPosted: Mon Feb 15, 2016 1:02 pm    Post subject: [Solved] KDE 5 Plasma problem with libspectre and libgs Reply with quote

I try to install on a fresh System.

I fond old articles here, but the Inputs did not help me.
ghostscript-gpl is actual
revdep-rebuild does not find Problems
tiff and jpeg are fresh
System is actual synced and up to date.

I tried the build twice, same Problem. Is that a bug to file?

Here my Problem:

Code:

Regardless of the issue here, where do you think Plasma-5 is involved? /me looks at topic and is curious

"Portage & Programming" would be a better fit, since this appears to be an ebuild problem and is certainly not related to whatever desktop, if any, you are running.

EDIT: Or actually, it should be "Unsupported Software" since this is Funtoo.

The strange thing is that I have that combination of ghostscript and libspectre installed just fine. Maybe you should try the following check:

Code:
$ equery k ghostscript-gpl

Code:
$ equery k ghostscript-gpl

I have the same thought. "Unsupported" I am on the way to redo the system, following the Gentoo-way. May be, tonight I reach this point of install again and will see, if it's works as for you.

(A long time ago) when I switched back from Funtoo to Gentoo (only a brief excursion on a machine where I wanted a more up-to-date install tarball) I didn't need much more than swap out the contents of /usr/portage/ and adjust my make.conf.

I did not have enough knowledge to go that route :( and had already started to format the drive a had funtoo on when I was reading your input.

Result: What ever I did wrong in Funtoo, I did it correct in my Gentoo-installation. I have KDE 5 running.
