Since I upgraded media-libs/mesa from 11.0.7 to 11.1.0 Xorg hasn't been able to find DRI.
SDDM shows a black screen on startup, startx from root works showing xterm, but I can't start anything who uses DRI, obtaining errors like "Unable to load r600, unable to load r600_dri" and so on...
I checked all logfiles and config files, without finding any information about the problem.
Downgrading to mesia-libs/mesa-11.0.8 solved the problem.

Anyone else experiencing the same problem?
Any other solution different from masking =media-libs/mesa-11.1.0 ?

I forgot to mention that I also made an emerge @x11-module-rebuild (which includes x11-drivers/xf86-video-ati) and a revdep-rebuild...

This is what I have in my /usr/lib/dri directory
Code:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root    25 Dec 16 03:42 kms_swrast_dri.so -> ../mesa/kms_swrast_dri.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root    22 Dec 16 03:42 nouveau_dri.so -> ../mesa/nouveau_dri.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root    28 Dec 16 03:42 nouveau_vieux_dri.so -> ../mesa/nouveau_vieux_dri.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root    20 Sep 21 17:16 r600_dri.so -> ../mesa/r600g_dri.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root    20 Dec 16 03:42 r600g_dri.so -> ../mesa/r600g_dri.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root    21 Aug 31  2011 swrast_dri.so -> ../mesa/swrast_dri.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root    22 Dec 16 03:42 swrastg_dri.so -> ../mesa/swrastg_dri.so

I did have a few that showed up "red" which on my system means the link pointed to a non-existent file in the mesa directory.

Notice r600 and r600g now both point to mesa/r600g so I think that link needs to be there
(though, IMO, it should have been created, as I said I had leftover ones, so I tidied up)

Now everything works with media-libs/mesa-11.1.0, I have no idea why...
Maybe mesa was broken, revdep-rebuild didn't detected it and it was sufficient rebuilding it?
Sorry guys for the time I made you lose.
