Having problems after the upgrade from 2.6.x
Sound settings won't open, clicking on Networking crashes System Settings window, same with Date & Time, Color, Display and Keyboard. |

Did you try with a new user? (Just use a clean homedirectory !)
Maybe the configs are just oudated and cause a mess. |

gnome-extra/cinnamon-2.8.6
gnome-extra/cinnamon-settings-daemon-2.8.3
It just works to rename the Gentoo ebuilds to get the newer versions. |

kajzer, i got overlay and ebuild there for Cinnamon without NetworkManager.
If you need it, u can add my overlay |

why both webkit-gtk:[34] are needed?
The cinnamon-screensaver runs fine without webkit-gtk:3
