Just wondering if I'm alone here. I sync portage daily and usually get a bunch. Though I haven't gotten anything since the gnome 3..18 upgrade at the end of November. Just wondering if something is wrong or the devs are just taking a break. Thanks.

Something's definitely up. There have been a bunch of updates early December that I've pulled in.
