I have a raspberry pi that iam experimenting with.
I have everything up and running under gentoo, so i thought i should try out my usb wifi adapter.
I use wicd since that is what im used to..
Now,, i had this adapter up and running on an old laptop with gentoo on it.
And i just did a weekly update of that as usual, and after that the wireless keeps connecting and disconnecting over and over.
This was maybe this spring, havent used it since.
Now its exactly the same thing with the raspberry.
The only output in the log from wicd is:
23:20:21 DHCP connection successful
23:20: 21 not verifyiing
23:20:21 connecting thread exiting
Sorry i had no way to copy the complete log, but the 20 seconds from the "not verifying" statement to autoconnecting, the adapter is working and communicating properly.
There is also no output in the dmesg when this is happening..
