For my 4k monitor, I set a custom cursor size in /etc/X11/Xresources, via:

Code:
Xcursor.size: 36

I'm using xdm as my login manager, which then calls
Code:
startlxqt
from my .xsession file.

When the session starts, it resets to
Code:
Xcursor.size: 18

It seems to be doing this after my local resources are merged, and after my profiles are sourced.

Anybody know how to either stop this happenning, or else override it again automatically?

The only thing I've found that works is to start an xterm, manually merge the setting with xrdb, and then manually restart the pcmanfm desktop, the window manager, and the panel.
