Hello All

Not sure when but after recent updates for screen, my screens are no longer available after disconnect from the server. What use to happen, is that log into a remote server, and I issue `screen` command. If I'm disconnected from the server, I could always log back in and issue `screen -r` and I would pick up my old screens. Now, if I'm disconnected and issue that command I received the following - "There is no screen to be resumed."

I know there have been 2-3 updates in the recent months for screen, so not 100% sure what version has caused this change. I wanted to ask this here in case I'm missing a USE flag or need to issue different commands to have this functionality again.

Here is my current version of screen:
[ebuild R ] app-misc/screen-4.3.1-r1::gentoo USE="pam -debug -multiuser -nethack (-selinux)" 827 KiB

I manage multiple servers, and this is happening on ALL of my remote servers.

Thanks!
hanji

hanj ... I'm not a screen user but I imagine its the following:

screen-4.3.1-r1.ebuild
Code:
ewarn "This revision changes the screen socket location to ${rundir}"

So, the socket has moved, and your existing sessions don't realise the fact.

best ... khay
