openvpn stops without notice when vpn is loaded

Hi,

I am trying to setup a vpn connection. It works, I can ping and download small files via wget. but if I access a larger page, like bmw.de, the connection stopps. There is no debug on the openvpn client It doesnt exit. It just sits there..
My setup:

- bridged virtual machine openvpn client (qemu)

Now the setup itself works. I tested it on a slackware machine, which is also a VM on the same server using the exact same setup.

Any idea where to start?

Sounds like the MTU for either the route or the interface (lowest wins) is too high maybe?
